Facilitate Healthy, Happy Friendships

Our Divine Download for July 17, 2025 is Friendship from the Magical Messages from the Mermaids Oracle. It's time to check the pulse of your friendships, and really your relationships of all kinds. Have you really been pouring into your friendship at a level that demonstrates their value and their worth to you? Have you been honoring yourself first and foremost? Have you been talking the talk and walking the walk with your friendships? Have you allowed yourself to passively make excuses for why you aren't participating in and with your friendships because it is more comfortable for you to do that and sort of play the victim then it might be to honor what that friendship truly means to you by making the call, sending the text, or having what could be a challenging conversation? Life is short. Relationships are precious. Are you acting in accordance with that awareness? If you are worried, concerned, or fearful about how someone may react if you reach out to them, is that really about them, or is it about you? What's the worst that can happen? When we choose not to know, our ego runs rampant with some truly obnoxious and often ugly possibilities. When we choose to find out, even if it is something "bad" or challenging, at least we know where we stand, and oftentimes we are given the opportunity to choose to take reconciliatory action. The truth is that everyone has a lot going on, and everyone has had a lot going on for a long time. Some of your friends might not be as okay as you think that they are (Hint: not everything you see on the internet is true). But you won't know if you don't reach out and ask. It is wild out there, a proverbial jungle of weirdness. But ultimately, we're all in this together, and that especially includes our friends and other close relationships.
