Get A Move On

Our Divine Download for July 16, 2025 is Time to Move On from the Magical Messages from the Mermaids Oracle. This deck was one of the earliest decks that I had when I very first started reading oracle cards. Every time that I drew this card, there was a sense of dread that came with it because I was looking at it as endings or something that I had to give up or walk away from when I didn't want to. But look at the image on the card: our mermaid isn't in a position where she is forced to give anything up, or she is sad at an ending, she is fully embodying her empowerment and it is her choice to walk away, as the sea washes away the remnants of what doesn't work for her anymore, because chances are that it hasn't been working for a while. So if you have a sad, or melancholy reaction with the first thing that comes to mind when you receive this message, know that it is simply your ego telling you a tall tale of bs. Take a breath. Think about what you can move on from that would feel healing, that would feel empowering, that would lift you up, bring you joy, boost your confidence. THAT is what it is time to move on from. Usually this is not a relationship based card because when we do have to move on from people or relationship dynamics, there is often some melancholy, sadness, and even anger involved. This is more a card of introspection. What is it time to move on from within yourself? With your habits? Your patterns? Within your life? When you take a couple of deep breaths and get out of that cerebral head space where your ego is trying to get you all worked up about dramatic endings, you can see that there are probably things that you are doing, patterns that you are proliferating, or simply items that are taking up unnecessary space in your life which you can throw away, donate, or gift. Time to move on simply means it's time to clear space in your life and energetic field so that you can experience more of what you want and more of what serves you best.
