Our Divine Download for March 13, 2022 is Horse/Motivation from the Animal Kin Oracle Cards. Is your motivation charging fearlessly, steadily forward or has your get up and go got up and went? The horse reminds us that in taking action is the only way in which we can truly motivate ourselves and others. The horse's only natural defense against predators is to run and to move. Where in your own life have you lacked movement? Are you running from things that are actually predatory in nature? Or are you perhaps vilifying certain things, situations, or even people as threats where in fact they may not be in order to justify your own desire to run and to move? Horses encourage us to channel our own drive, passion, and motivation to get moving towards our goals. Where have you been slacking on moving towards your goals? Are you clear on which goals you are moving towards? Are you connected to your goals? (There's not really much point in moving if we are not clear and connected on what it is we want or where we are going). Horse also reminds us that they naturally become more confident by learning and growing through their experiences and the same is true for us, though we rarely connect with this perspective about our growth through experience. Horse can help give us that little nudge to move us forward and in the right direction when we have been feeling stuck in our negative experiences or uncertainty. Horse also reminds us that when we are feeling apathetic or unfulfilled it is a sign that we have been standing still too long and that our body, and our entire being craves and needs movement. Putting in the leg work throughout our lives will always lead us to greener pastures. So get moving!
