Our Divine Download for June 27, 2022 is Water Dragon/Draig-uisge with the keywords Passion, Depth, and Connection from The Druid Animal Oracle. The water dragon brings that which is hidden to light. This can include memories and wishes, even those which have long been forgotten or abandoned, or have been repressed in the unconscious mind. As these surface and emerge into our conscious awareness, they may frighten or overwhelm with their apparent negativity or destructiveness. Facing these experiences with compassion and courage will bring you to an experience of greater depth of soul and a greater sense of connectedness to all life, in the end. The emotional overwhelm will lessen and fade in time and you will be able to achieve a sense of balance and stability as these strong feelings become integrated into your consciousness. Water dragon also warns us to approach an exploration of our psyche and our past with caution as there are limits to the amount of repressed or unconscious awareness that our conscious mind can absorb into awareness or handle being released at any given point in time. This is not a time to push yourself or attempt to do it all at once. It is best to work little by little to integrate the unconscious material into conscious awareness. Healing and wholeness is best achieved slowly, even though we want to power through the process to arrive at the destination. We do ourselves a disservice when we ignore that the journey itself is both beautiful and important. Water dragon also alerts you to beware of allowing your emotions to rule you in a way that you may later regret.
