Listen Well

Our Divine Download for March 1, 2023 is Dolphin/Listening from the Messages From The Spirits of Nature Oracle. The Dolphin comes to us today to remind us that listening is not only an imperative act within effective communication, but that it really is an all or nothing endeavor which we need to focus on being fully present for. So often we listen to respond. Or we listen while distracted. But in doing so, and not being fully present, are we really listening at all? And are we truly hearing? What is the point of listening if we do not allow ourselves to do so effectively thus allowing ourselves to hear. We all have filters through which we listen, which is normal and natural because we actually hear so much more than we're consciously aware of that our brain develops these filters to help us make sense of the world around us. The problem is that we then carry these filters into communication with others and are therefore listening through pre-existing filters, which may not be helpful in all situations. Make the commitment to yourself and those with whom you have valued relationships to practice listening with all of you present, making it a priority to truly understand clearly what is being conveyed. Wherever you happen to be, occasionally pause, breathe, and listen attentively to your immediate environment to hear what echoes back to you as there can be important messages and information within these echos. It is also important for you at this time to develop the skill of listening to your Higher Self by breathing slowly, calming you mind, and noting any messages that come to you. Listening in these present moment, full awareness ways is one of the greatest gifts that you can give to yourself and the world. So listen up!
