Our Divine Download for October 31, 2024 is Seven of Bats from the Halloween Tarot. In other tarot interpretations, the Seven of Bats would be the Seven of Air, Seven of Swords, Seven of Winter, and Seven of Archangel Michael. The Seven of Bats asks you to examine what you have been doing and why you have been doing it, because changes are that you have fallen into some bad habits or unhelpful patterns. It can be indicative that it is necessary for you to change your strategy or plans because you have gotten stuck on the hamster wheel or merry-go-round from hell, and it is time for you to walk away and do your own thing, based on your own thoughts and your own opinions, not those of anyone else or societal expectations. This is also a card than can speak to a temporary pause in the action, as you dismount the proverbial hamster wheel or merry-go-round, and again, just like with the Seven of Pumpkins, this is not the universe telling you "no." It is simply the universe saying "not right this second, because we have some plans to readjust or some misperceptions to correct." Getting off of the societal merry-go-round from hell, and making decisions and plans from an objective place from where you can gather more accurate information is actually a positive and empowering thing to do, though it may feel frustrating in the moment. But it will be less frustrating to move forward in a timely manner with a better plan, than to just keep doing what you've been doing for the sake of doing it, because you've always done it, or because everyone else does it. This is a card that puts you on notice that mindful, considerate action is required at this time in order to achieve the greatest possible level of success.
