Prioritize Playfulness

Our Divine Download for February 13, 2026 is Playfulness from the Romance Angels Oracle Cards. Our Romance Angels tell us "To recapture romance, allow your inner youthful spirit of fun to shine!" Believe it or not, most of the challenges or perceived problems in our lives can be solved by play. We are meant to be in joy. We are meant to enjoy our lives. When we play, when we have fun, we are realigning our energy, our spirit to be able to better and more fully receive all of the joy and good things that life has to offer. Play is essential to our well being and it is a crucial part of our manifestation and co-creation efforts. Yet play is usually the very first thing we abandon when we are stressed or when we are experiencing challenges in our lives. We lean into the challenge and our ego convinces us that we have to be serious and focus on the challenge all of the time in order to somehow keep it from getting worse, or to punish ourselves for being in a challenging situation, or to ensure that the other shoe isn't going to drop. However, the challenge would most likely be resolved more quickly if we took a playful approach and made the conscious decision not to allow our challenges to define our lives or our experiences. In the same way, if you want more romance in your life, you need to play, you need to romance yourself first and foremost so that your partner, your lover, can then match your energy. There are few things more attractive than a youthful spirit.
