It is naive to ignore the fact that we need financial stability in order to live and in order to be comfortable and in order to have the things that we want in life. But, it is also naive to think that everything else in our lives will simply stand still or can be put on hold while we get to where we want to be with our finances. It is also somewhat ignorant to ignore the fact that we live in a capitalistic society where the mantra seems to be "more, More, MORE!" all of the time regardless of how much you have. You are not meant to take a knee on all other areas of your life to focus exclusively on your finances. When you are out of balance to that extent, nothing good can come from it. This is not how we are meant to live. It is not how things are meant to be.
