Our Divine Download for April 20, 2024 is Delusion from the Divine Abundance Oracle Cards with the message "Intention without surrender can be a fast path to delusion." WHOA. This is some deep, deep stuff right here, but so very important. We are meant to live intentionally. We are meant to set intentions. But we are not meant to drive the intention bus as to how our intentions manifest. This is the part that we often get wrong because we hide behind the illusion of control and think that we can force the universe to manifest our intentions exactly as we see fit. Which is laughable. We get to set the intention. We get to tell the universe what we want, what we intend. But we don't get to say how it comes to fruition. When we try, we are essentially over stepping and will likely get knocked down in a pretty harsh way. And this is how we end up locked in and suffering in the land of delusion. We delude ourselves by refusing to surrender. When we set intentions, our next step, our mission, is to trust. When we refuse or fail to surrender, we are essentially taking our intentions back and telling the universe that we can control and manifest better than it can. No wonder we end up deluded! When we refuse or fail to surrender, we're essentially on an ego-based power trip. Intention isn't ever going to go anywhere (or at least not anywhere good) with ego driving. Surrender goes back to that release card we saw not so terribly long ago, because it is all about letting it go. It's all about telling the universe that this is what I want, this is what I intend, and I trust that you're going to bring me this or something even better. It truly is as simple as that! So surrender and lean into trust in order to stay out of delusion. This is the way.
