Tend To Your Friends

Our Divine Download for October 8, 2025 is Friend from the Gypsy Oracle Cards. 2025 has easily been one of the most introspective years of our lifetimes, for those of us that have chosen to do the work. As such, we may have inadvertently neglected some of our friendships, as we learned to become better and more attentive and capable friends to ourselves first and foremost. Now is the time to start to come out of our proverbial cocoons and start applying that knowledge to our friendships. Even those that may have been neglected, even those that we may fear are over. It is time to make repairs and amends, or it is time to peacefully, lovingly, seek closure. It is 2025 and as such there is absolutely no need or no excuse for "ghosting" or simply walking away from any relationship without having enough respect for yourself or for the other person to explain why or what happened, no matter what the explanation may be (and "I don't know what happened" is an explanation). If you are on the receiving end of what you may feel was a disappearing act, are you willing to receive communication and an explanation, even if it may not be something that you want to hear or may not understand? Is the other person even aware that they disappeared from your life, or did they perhaps have things going on in their own lives that you were not aware of and therefore did not or could not consider? Regardless of what happened or why, if that person ever held a place in your heart or in your life, it is time to reach out to rectify any possibly misunderstandings which will allow you to receive more and better friendship in your life, regardless of whether or not it is with them. Challenge yourself not to stay silent, but to communicate from a place of love, a place of peacefulness, and a place of acceptance with all of your friends, past, present, and future.
